How do AI-moderated calls differ from traditional interviews?

The process is similar to traditional calls. You will need to kick-off a project with the necessary details and angles, after which you’ll receive a list of matches and screened experts you can choose for the calls. After that, the AI agent takes over to schedule and conduct the call based on key research objectives and interview guide you’ve provided. Once completed you will receive the transcript with the insights shared on the call.

What’s the difference between AIMI and surveys?

A traditional survey is a static questionnaire. Experts go through pre-set multiple-choice questions or type into text boxes, making it perfect for gathering statistically significant data from a large population.

AIMI, on the other hand, is a dynamic conversation. If an expert gives a brief or interesting answer, the AI dynamically asks follow-up questions to probe for deeper detail and nuance. AIMI is ideal for when you need the speed of a survey, but require the rich, contextual insights you usually only get from 1:1 expert calls.

How many experts can I interview for one project?

AI-moderated interviews are ideal for projects that require a higher volume of interviews, typically in the range of 10 to 50 participants. But the process is flexible, there are no minimum or maximum numbers for AIMIs.

Can I combine AI-moderated interviews with traditional calls on the same project?

Yes. We specialise in adapting to our clients’ workflows and needs. Our approaches are flexible and we can work closely with you and your team on specific needs per project.

Do I have to provide an interview script?

You can provide a detailed interview script or simply your key research objectives based on which our agents will generate a custom script for your project.
